What is Bentonite Clay?
Bentonite Clay is a substance derived from volcanic ash. Bentonite Clay is sometimes called healing clay.

Ingredients: 100% Pure Bentonite Clay
1 lb. Pouch
 
Bentonite Clay Detox Hair Mask:
1/2 cup bentonite clay
12 tablespoons of distilled water or/ half water half apple cider vinegar (6 tablespoons water, 6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar)
Optional:
light oil of your choice-  3 tablespoons of coconut, babassu, or sweet almond oil
Essential oil- rosemary or lavender

Mix the mask in a glass or ceramic bowl with a wooden spoon. 
Directions:
Step 1: Add bentonite clay to the bowl.
 
**If you are adding oils add them now and mix
 
Step 2: Slowly add water while mixing slowly until you get a paste-like consistency. if you are using apple cider vinegar, add it to the water you'll be using before.
 
** if the mixture is too runny you can add more bentonite clay.
 
Step 3: Once you reach the right consistency, apply to the hair and scalp and let set for 10-15min. 
 
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly and condition hair as you would after shampooing.
 
The detox mask is typically done once per month.
